A residential retreat situated within a cave in Diu, designed as a place where people can slow down, connect with nature and experience a sense of belonging.

The design responds to the existing cave condition and explores the relationship between interaction and privacy. Natural surroundings become an integral part of the living experience.

The house accommodates interaction, cooking, working, sleeping, dining and relaxation while creating varying degrees of privacy. Movement through the space is carefully considered in relation to existing architectural elements and the cave condition.

A retreat that balances social interaction with personal privacy, creating a slower and more connected experience within the natural landscape.
